It’s not that The Volume has to be observed nor that an observer has to observe it; rather, it is a coincidence that one exists inside the other for however brief a time.
When an event which one deems to be important is observed by another, we have little reason to believe that this other will assign the same value to the event.
It is important that some things can only exist in a state of being undefined. To know if these undefined things have value, we must measure them. A thought is a kind of measurement, and what is a thought, but an observation. In some sense, a blog is a set of observations; a set of measurements. One might spend some time reading these measurements and, after reflection, conclude that the measurements themselves have little importance, and it is instead much more interesting to consider what is being measured and what is doing the measuring.
